Help with Tell Trap, Full Casebook and playing your next round.

Contact the studio

Email hello@enquirestudio.co.uk with “Tell Trap” in the subject. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Tell Trap version from Settings, what you expected and what happened. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or screenshots revealing other players' private information.

Restore Full Casebook

Open Tell Trap, open Full Casebook and tap Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase and connect to the internet. If it remains locked, check your Apple purchase history and contact us. Do not buy again just to try to restore access.

What does Full Casebook include?

One payment unlocks five current premium case files: Nigerian Family Life, Movies & TV, Anime, Travel and Chaos. It is a non-consumable purchase with no subscription. Future premium files or separate products are not automatically promised. The four free case files remain playable without buying.

Purchases and refunds

The price is shown in your local currency on the purchase screen before you confirm with Apple. For a refund request, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is cancelled, nothing should unlock or be charged. Contact Apple if an unexpected charge appears.

Playing offline

Free rounds can be played offline. Previously verified Full Casebook access may remain available through the purchase service's local cache. A fresh install, a purchase or a restore needs an internet connection; reconnect if access cannot be verified.

Sound and discreet reveal

Check Settings > Sound effects, your device volume and the silent switch or Silent Mode. Tell Trap respects silent mode. Use Settings > Discreet reveal if people nearby can see the screen. The fingerprint is a game control, not a biometric scan.

How a round works

Gather 3 to 10 players around one phone. Add the group, choose a case file, and privately reveal each role. Everyone except the Impostor sees the same word. Give clues, discuss, then let everyone vote privately. You cannot vote for yourself. A unique top vote on the Impostor catches them; a tie or a civilian with the most votes lets the Impostor escape. The app chooses who gives the first clue, and it can be the Impostor.

Names and privacy

The app saves your last group and settings locally. Use nicknames if you prefer. Roles, words and votes are not saved between launches. For data questions, see the Privacy Policy. The Terms of Use explain purchase scope and your rights.
